Sua primeira aparição em rede nacional foi no programa de talentos Star Search^[38], em 1992. Logo após, a então jovem artista recebeu um convite para integrar-se ao elenco da produção da Disney The Mickey Mouse Club. Britney participou do programa de 1993 a 1994^[39], quando os produtores decidiram encerrar a atração. Sendo assim, ela retornou para a cidade de Kentwood e levou uma vida normal até 1998, quando lançou seu primeiro álbum "...Baby One More Time".
